Skyn Iceland promises “solutions for stressed skin.” Sounds pretty good. We tried out the Arctic Brightening Serum.

Brightens skin

Evens skin tone and texture

Helps reduce lines and wrinkles (have you ever found a skin cream or serum that didn’t promise that?)

“Restores skin’s immune system” (I have no idea what this means)

Special Ingredients

Arctic root, maral root, Siberian ginseng to “bolster cellular defenses”

Retinol derivative for those wrinkles and age spots. Since it is a “derivative” it is gentler on skin.

Proprietary “Biospheric Complex” which attempts to combine the benefits and minerals in Iceland’s earth, air, and water.

i-Peptide for that skin immunity (still have no idea)

Results
I wanted to love this product, but I didn’t. I didn’t hate it, either. I tried it alone and with moisturizer. I just didn’t see any of the promised benefits. My skin did not look more evenly toned, and it did nothing for the texture. It was just… meh. Is it just this one product? Just my skin? Has anyone else had any experience with Skyn Iceland?
